1. [1] Das Activestills-Kollektiv wurde 2005 von einer Gruppe Dokumentarfotografen aus der festen Überzeugung heraus gegründet, dass Fotografie ein Mittel für sozialen und politischen Wandel ist. Das Kollektiv versteht sich als Teil des internationalen und lokalen Kampfes gegen alle Formen von Unterdrückung, Rassismus und Diskriminierung. Es setzt sich aus israelischen, palästinensischen und internationalen Fotografen zusammen, die lokal in Palästina/Israel und im Ausland tätig sind.
